Quality Control

At Edwards Precision Ltd, quality is built into every stage of our manufacturing process. Our fully equipped inspection room operates within a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring dimensional stability and consistency for even the most demanding tolerances.

We use a Mitutoyo CMM with a Renishaw TP20 probe system to perform accurate dimensional checks on complex components. Our inspection data is digitally recorded and can be supplied with full inspection reports when required.

In addition to our CMM, we utilise a full range of calibrated precision instruments, including:

Digital and mechanical micrometers
Bore gauges
Surface finish testers
Thread and plug gauges

Our bespoke job tracking system ensures that all work and materials are fully traceable, from initial order through to final delivery. Every part we manufacture is subject to inspection and documentation, guaranteeing compliance with our customers' specifications.
